

Finitec Canada, subject to the terms and conditions set forth below, warrants that its adhesives AD-316, AD-532+ ou AD-844 in a floor covering assembly for residential and commercial applications as set forth in the warranty length tables attached to this warranty ("Warranty Length Tables") will be free from manufacturing defects and will not break down or deteriorate under normal usage for the applicable warranty period indicated in the Warranty Length Tables, when used in accordance with our technical data sheets and other installation and maintenance instructions, applicable building codes and regulations, and standard industry practices. For purposes of this warranty, (a) a "floor covering assembly" is a group of Finitec Canada products and compatible wood floor products used together in a job installation, as described in the attached Warranty Length Tables; (b) "residential" means a job installation utilizing Finitec Canada products at a single-family detached or semidetached dwelling or an individual condominium unit. (c) "Light commercial" means a job installation utilizing Finitec Canada products at offices, hotel room and dining section of a restaurant...; (d) "commercial", means a job installation utilizing
Finitec Canada products a public places and other commercial establishments; (e) "institutional", means a job installation utilizing Finitec Canada products at hospitals, schools, libraries...; and (d) for any of their warranties Finitec Canada will stay valid as long as the initial installation remains unchanged by any undesired events or by the original owner.

NOTE : AD-316 can be used only over electrical radiant heat system. AD-532+ or AD-844 can be used over hydronic or electrical radiant heat system.

(1) Our products must be used within the shelf life specified on our technical data sheets. (2) The products must be used for a suitable and compatible use. It is the sole responsibility of the owner, contractor and/or sub-contractor to test (or have tested) the suitability of our products or any system for their intended use, and these parties assume all risk and liability. (3) All system components must be used together in order for a system warranty to be effective. (4) The products must not be used in combination with any other product that is not recommended or approved by Finitec Canada. (5) When used with Mapeï Primer WE or Primer T combined to the Ultraplan self levelling compound over electrical heating wires and Acousti-Tech membrane. You must install expansion foam material at the perimeter of the installation and every time the self levelling compound meets vertical structures (as counters, columns, etc). For rooms having more that 200 Sq Ft (18,5 m2), you must install in the cement compound an expansion join to control any possible expansion or contraction movements during and after the cure. This constitutes your entire express warranty for the system of products purchased. To the extent permitted by law, all other warranties, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of MERCHANTABILITY and FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE are EXCLUDED. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARISING BY PERATION OF LAW ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE TERM OF THIS WARRANTY. SOME PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. No implied warranty can be modified by any course of dealing, course of performance or usage of trade. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from province to province. This warranty: (a) is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable; (b) shall commence on the date of product purchase and shall end when the respective warranty period expires for that product or system as specified in the Warranty Length Tables; (c) replaces all previous warranties; and (d) applies to purchases within Canada of those products or system listed in the Warranty.
To file a claim under this warranty, you must contact us, in writing, within fifteen (15) days of the discovery of the alleged manufacturing defect in our products, at Finitec Canada., Attn: Technical Service Department, 150 Leon-Vachon, St-Lambert-de-Lauzon, Quebec, Canada G0S 2W0. We have the right to physically inspect an installation site and obtain samples from that job installation and of our product used in that installation before we determine the validity of your claim. Your claim must be received and evaluated by us before any repair work is performed. For additional information regarding our warranty policy, please refer to our website at www.finitec-inc.com.
If your claim is valid under this warranty and our products are proven defective within the respective warranty period shown in the Warranty Length Tables, then for a product-only purchase, you will receive, as your sole remedy, Finitec Canada replacement product for only that portion of the original installation requiring replacement; and for system purchases, you will receive, as your sole remedy, Finitec Canada replacement product and reimbursement of your reasonable and substantiated costs and labor for only that specific portion of the original installation requiring replacement. All other remedies including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or business interruption loss are excluded, but some provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. The present warranty shall be governed by the laws of Canada and the laws of the province in which the aforesaid products were purchased.
