Inauguration of Finitec Group.
Finitec Group becomes a manufacturing company.
Through the creation of a Research and Development Department, Finitec Group develops its own formulations of water based finishes.
Finitec Group offers cleaning systems under its trademark as well as private labels.
Finitec Group offers restoration systems under its trademark.
The establishment of a laboratory permitted Finitec Group to develop and add to its line of products a better performing and more innovative finishing systems for wood floors.
Finitec Group provides systems and acoustical solutions under the brand Acousti-Tech.
The President announced that the next generation will affirm its place within the company. It was a positive change that will result in the introduction of new products and projects.
Finitec Group launched its LEAD range of products in acoustics.
The 15th anniversary was celebrated.
In early 2010
Raynald Rioux, founder of Finitec Group officially leaves the decision-making power of the company and Marc Rioux officially becomes CEO.
Finitec Group offers a new range of products: wood vents. The company makes a separate division.
Finitec Group separates the adhesive from its acoustic division to create a distinct division. The company now has 6 divisions.

For many years now, Finitec has been supporting the Centraide organization. This organization aims to improve the living conditions of people in vulnerable situations by contributing to community organizations development. Thus, it mobilizes the community and gather the resources needed. Learn more!
Centraide acts where it should. For every dollar received, Centraide Québec and Chaudière-Appalaches distributes $0.88 to community organizations in the Québec-Chaudière-Appalaches area. That's why since 2009, Finitec Group has chosen to support this organization that gives back to various support services in the region.
Centraide Québec - Chaudière-Appalaches's mission is to mobilize the community and gather the resources to contribute to the development of the communities and improve the living conditions of people in vulnerable situations, and this, in partnership with the community organizations.

Finitec Group and Centraide Québec and Chaudière-Appalaches had the pleasure of inviting the population to its first softball tournament "Home run for Centraide ", on June 5th of 2010.
The initiative of Finitec Group allowed 8 companies in the region to compete in a friendly softball tournament in the St-Lambert-de-Lauzon Park. "We wanted to organize an original activity to raise funds for Centraide while joining together the population and workers in our industry, "says Caroline Rioux, member of the organizing committee.
The public was invited to encourage the participating teams while enjoying the complimentary amenities available throughout the day. Mascots, inflatable games, entertainment, music, food and drinks were available for the pleasure and appetite of children and adults.
This friendly tournament raised $ 2,672 for Centraide Québec and Chaudière-Appalaches.
Finitec Group helps fund Grand Village, because it allows people living with a mental or physical disability to participate in camps and respites. Our donations that go towards the operation fund or capital of the Grand Village, assist in providing services of a higher level to a greater number of people with disabilities. Finitec Group is proud to donate $ 12 500 over 5 years.
The primary mission of the Grand Village is to offer safe, adapted and enriching outdoor activities to children, teenagers and adults with physical or intellectual disorders, while offering to their families a moment of rest and tranquillity.

The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is an initiative of U.S. Customs and Border Protections (CBP) that works in voluntary partnership with businesses to secure every aspect of the international supply chain against terrorism when importing merchandise in the United States. This accreditation is given to companies and carriers that show high level of security.
What is PIP?
The Partner In Protection (PIP) is the Canadian border services agency, the counterpart of the C-TPAT in the United States.
What are the advantages?
Those accreditations allow a faster and safer access to the United States and Canadian Customs. They also enable accredited carriers to have confidence in the goods they transport.
